Selected publications
I have selected a few papers illustrating my work in various fields over the last forty years. Science thrives through collaboration. People always work in teams and also often collaborate with scientists from other teams, frequently in other institutions. Nearly all of my publications involve several authors.
I have been very fortunate in some of my collaborators. In particular, early in my career I had the good fortune to work first with B.B. Singh and then Alan Lehmann and, some years later, with the late John Sloane. With these three scientists, above all, l experienced the excitement of productive and innovative work.
